There is no motion blur, especially the picture preset "cinema" is particularly good. For HD channels (DVB-C and DVB-S (2)), the picture presents a total clean very well, super sharp and in motion. The only shortcoming a slight noise in monochrome, homogeneous surfaces now and then. Our visual impression confirm the measured values of the display: so far no 32-inch LCD could shine with a maximum contrast of 7.475: 1. The high contrast arises however because the screen dark image automatically reduces the backlight. But also the checkerboard contrast appear white and black squares in an image is really good with 162: 1. Less beautiful: in standard mode the image looks very grainy. Preferably, we liked the "Movie" mode. Here, the image appears correctly crisp sharp.

Everything in it, all off

Only the operation of the remote control requires some practice and the streaming client formats supported are more expandable. The price however worthy of criticism: 1.250 euro are simply too expensive for a 32-incher - even if he is as good as the 32PFL9603D.

Alternative
Panasonic TX-32LX70F although no full-HD resolution, shows very good images with a maximum resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. 780 Euros it costs significantly less than the Philips TV.

World TV HD Lite - the whole world of television on the iPad?

The AppStore description for world TV HD Lite reads somewhat promising

More than 200 TV channels from around the world are to be received. This all in digital quality with high quality of image and sound, embedded in a very convenient and simple user interface. It is to work on iPhone and iPad and, so the description promises, "You will have no difficulty with ITV Digital!". And even a 4 star rating from over 450 reviews. Because you can do but actually wrong not much - or?

Well, the first mistake you can do with this app is much giving role description. Because of which astonishingly little true. The developer makes for one to verweden the error for Lite and full version of the same description. Instead of over 200 television programme are those 10. And not necessarily the most interesting. Then, the "HD" in the app name is somewhat misleading on a television access. As with HD television that has little to do (see second image). Finally, it is also not quite understand why is the talk of TV for iPhone and iPad. The app only runs on the iPad, a version for the iPhone does not exist. Not that that particular pity anyway…

World TV HD Lite

Of the 10 television channels, news and Eurosport are after all about BBC world. The rest are Russian and Arabic channels. But at least you can do is already a picture of the operation of the app and the broadcast-quality thus.
