Hannspree SV32LMNB

Hannspree SV32LMNB (32-inch LED-TV)

Hannspree SV32LMNB sets for his 32-inch displays backlighting on edge-LED backlight. Is the full HD TV at an unbelievable price of 300 euros - and convincing in the test with great picture and rich sound. The Hannspree is ideally equipped for TV reception: an analog and a digital (DVB-C) are on board cable tuner and a tuner for DVB-T. Also receive HD channels and a CI + support the two DVB-tuner-slot allows the decryption of Pay-TV (sky) and basic verschlüsseltem CATV (cable Germany and UnityMedia).

Great TV image
What the TV from the tuners showed in the test, liked it very well: the lawn at a football game played while easily mushy, but the edges are sharp and motion artifacts in the form of double outlines or halos are almost imperceptible. A lightweight, bright areas to determine but typical pixel noise - was a total but not annoying for 720 p channels via DVB-C. Edges and marquee are pretty sharp, really nice look at the image entirely.

Weaknesses in DVD, strong Blu-ray disc
The image of DVDs convinces in test also - it is sharp and colorful. Only in dark image sequences of the television when it is displayed having a hard time: the detail is weak and the typically something through eating LED-backlit over stahlt at the Hannspree the image in the corners. With movies from Blu-ray disc the detail is essential better as in DVD material - here the image like a total back very well.
Hannspree SV32LMNB: Inexpensive LED TV with great image quality.
Powerful sound, good remote control, rudimentary menus
Is the sound of the Hansspree TV is loud and strong. The Hannspree body begins to echo if you reach the device on maximum volume only slightly. The remote but not too high-quality impression, but good in the hand and is extremely open. The operation on the TV set itself is theoretically feasible via backlit sensor buttons - however the buttons respond pretty slow, which quite annoying in the long run. The menus of the Hannspree TV are therefore very spartan compared to other manufacturers - but there are the most important settings. However, the menu covered most of the image, making it something difficult setting, for example, image parameters.

Simple facilities, moderate power consumption
The remaining facilities of Hannspree SV32LMNB is appropriate for the price: three times HDMI, SCART twice and the above mentioned tuners. This network or Internet features are not there. After all: About a USB interface and a built-in Media Player you can play many video, music and photo formats on the Hannspree TV. Annoying: The lighting of the Hannspree logo can not switch itself off, what bothers extremely dark movies. Hannspree told us to do so upon request, that may be a firmware update for the model to follow, which then allows the switch-off. Thanks to LED backlight, the Hannspree has a low power consumption: 80 watts are great in normal operation when a 32-incher already. And if you switch the TV to the eco-mode, he draws only even 40 watts from the outlet.
Leaked backlight: ago all in dark scenes shone it annoyingly in the image.
Conclusion
Hannspree SV32LMNB shows a great image of his three tuners and Blu-ray discs in the test. DVDs the above-average highly translucent LED backlight is uncomfortable noticeable but. The facilities of the TV is in keeping with the price and also remote control and sound do not disappoint. For 300 euros, the Hannspree is a real bargain and earned our buy recommendation. Alternative The Hanspree SJ32DMBB with classical CCFL Backlight also offers a very good image quality at the spar price and is this even still 10 euros cheaper. The 32 incher comes with full HD resolution, three TV tuners and a CI slot, however need to screw your claims in the remaining facilities and the sound quality here.

  1. When the TV turns on or off, it plays a fancy tone sound like an iPhone, but its very loud and does not conform to volume setting. Is there any way to turn that off or soften it?
